After an amazing inaugural year, we are excited to bring the SundayMarket series back to Cambria City in 2021!
Over 5000 visitors attended the first SundayMarket Season in 2019 and they quickly became a new tradition in the Historic District!
We have renamed the Market Series, added an additional Sunday and moved the location to Emerich Place. These changes will allow the SundayMarkets to accommodate vendors and visitors in a larger area which is conducive to following pandemic-related health and gathering regulations in a more productive, safe and viable manner.
Sundays are traditionally when family and friends gather to reconnect and share their lives with each other. The SundayMarkets have been the perfect time for this and we’re already looking forward to another year of Sundays filled with great food, shopping, music, friendship and community!
Cambria City is easily accessed by Route 56 and there is an abundance of on-street parking in what many say is the most walkable and livable neighborhood in the city.
Along with various food and craft vendors, live music will available under the pergola and pop-up street art will be created during the day adding to the European-inspired market experience.
For 2021, we are looking for vendors specializing in the following areas:
Confections, breads, handmade crafts, artists of all mediums (paint, sketch, oil, sculpture, print, photography etc.), prepared food vendors, and food truck vendors.
We strongly encourage vendors to demonstrate the making of their products, if possible. This interactive experience not only is a proven method for increasing sales, but succeeds in educating visitors about the skills and talent that are part of the inherent value of the products they are purchasing.
Vendor booths are all 10’x10’, some may be located directly on the Piazza Maria at Emerich Place or on Chestnut Street between 5th and 6th Avenues.
Upon acceptance of the application, an invoice will be sent and must be returned with full payment.
